CGI - RELATED PROBLEM AVOIDANCE

We have developed the experience to anticipate issues that could bring a shoot to a grinding halt or make a take unuseable for CGI.

Choreography and accurate timing between two actors' movements are critical for achieving a believable illusion when a scene is shot for CGI. Shot strength, stroke direction and contact point are all variables that influence a ball's trajectory, and strokes must be timed to match - else the illusion falls apart.

Diego Schaaf has developed several methods to coordinate and optimize the actors' performances, and during the shoot he works closely with the director to determine the usability of every take. As a media professional he is familiar with the production environment.
